Class Description
The home is a reflection of self. It holds and reflects the personal expression and life processes of those living within it. Our dreaming, traditions, beliefs, values, celebrations, losses, conflicts and struggles can be expressed inside our homes. More aliveness and comfort in the body/mind translates potentially into more aliveness and comfort at home.

In this class you will learn to cultivate aliveness and awareness at home and in the body, will be able to understand the relationship between the self and its expression via the home, in a non-judgmental, explorative atmosphere.

Using the natural resources of the body: breath, body sensation, posture, movement, quality of mind, with simple mindfulness practices and guided expressive arts experiences, you will wake up the ability to play, be in the present and deepen into experience centered in the body.

The home and what is expressed inside it will be used as a means of exploration. How does your home support, create space, provide comfort and nurturance, challenge and reflect back the process of our life?

Classes will include sharing discoveries, use of photographs to practice the skill of direct observation, discussion of suggested readings. Journaling required.
